DICE TOWER Here you can see I am assembling the foam around the tower. I used a section of the tube to create a template for the hole. I used a lid from a container that was wide enough for the ring. I cut it out and then cut the center hole using the tube section as a template. I scored the circle in quarters so it would be easier to get the center section out (since I did each brick individually) and then cut the ring into 8ths. Then began the long process of 22 or so levels of foam glued to each other and the tube. After a few layers I got the idea of using toothpicks to pierce from the top to the bottom layer giving added strength and stability during the gluing process.
Foam... foam on the range!
If you look closely you'll see tiny tan dots, those are the ends of the toothpicks.
