The line wrapped round' the building by the break of dawn
I stood in line for untold hours or maybe it was more

I went to the dealers room to see what they had for sale
There was everything under the sun from comics to chainmail
So many booths I couldn't see the end of the hall

I found so many things to buy without looking hard
But I was low on cash so I took out my credit card
And when my spending spree was over the bank owned my soul

According to my watch it's been six hours since I ate
I went to the concessions stand and ordered me a plate

I went to find the gaming room to play some RPG's
It's been about five years since I last played D and D.
But all they were playing was Magic the Gathering
And I ain't going to con no more!

I made myself a costume from some things I found at home
I looked just like Conan you would swear I was his clone
But on the way to the con the police had stopped my car

Soon it was time, to wait in line, for the masquerade
Never before have I seen so many freaks on parade
It goes to show that spandex is a privilege not a right

At last it was Sunday the end was close at hand
So tired were all of us, that we could barely stand
Thank God Comic Con only comes once a year
